Doctrinal Statement
We believe in one God, eternally existing and manifesting Himself to us in three persons - Father, Son and the Holy spirit (Mark 1:10-11)
We believe Jesus Christ is God's Son, therefore He is God (Colossians 2:9). Jesus was born of a virgin (Luke 1:38); that in Him was no sin (1 John3:5); that His death on Calvary's cross, His burial, and physical resurrection from the grave is the only means of man's salvation (1 Peter 1:18-19; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4); and in His personal, premillennial, pretribulational and imminent return (Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).
We believe in the personality and Deity of the Holy Spirit who convicts, regenerates, illuminates, seals, indwells, sanctifies, comforts and abides in the believer (John 16:88-11; 1 Corinthians 3:16; 6:19-20). We believe that He is Sovereign in the giving of all His Spiritual gifts, and that these gifts are for the perfecting of the saints today. We believe that speaking in tongues and the working of sign miracles gradually ceased as the church grew and the New Testament Scriptures were completed (1 Corinthians 12:4-11; 13:8-13).
We believe, according to the Scriptures, that God created man in His image and likeness (Genesis 1:26); that through disobedience (sin) he fell (Romans 3:9,23 5:12); that the only way lost, sinful man may be restored to right relationship with God is though faith in the blood of Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5; 1 Peter 1:18-19); and that man thus born again has eternal life and is eternally secure in that life, being positionally justified, sanctified and sealed (Romans 5:9; Hebrews 10:10-14; Ephesians 1:13-14).
We believe in the personality of Satan (Job 1:6-7; John 8:44), who is the author of sin and the cause of the fall of man. He is the open and declared enemy of God and man, and he is condemned to everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord in the Lake of Fire (Matthew 25:41; Revelation 10:10; Genesis 3:14-15 ) along with those who reject God's way of salvation.
We believe that God has spoken and that His word is found in the Holy Scriptures containing the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments These Scriptures are the very word of God and, as such, make up His divine revelation to man. These Scriptures are inspired by God and are free from all error and omission in the original writings. These Scriptures are the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds and opinions should be tried (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21).
We believe The Church is made up of born again believers in the Lord Jesus Christ (Ephesians 1:22-23). We believe that the ordinances of the Church are baptist by immersion, subsequent to receiving Christ in His death, burial and resurrection (Romans 6:4); and the Lord's Supper, remembering the Lord's death until He comes (1 Corinthians 11:23-26). We believe that the ministry of the Church is twofold; evangelization (winning the sinners) and edification (teaching the saints) - (Matthew 28:19-20).
